Let us introduce you to our partner in crime - The Fine Wine Society of King's College London. Created in September 2011, the society is the latest venture between our founder James Lawrence and Dominic James, a law student and wine obsessive at King's College London. From September 2011, the majority of our events will be held in collaboration with the society in central London. Membership is open to all!
Fine Wines of the WorldOur next wine tasting will be held on Monday 28 November 7:30pm at The Staff Council Room, King's College London, Strand, London, WC2R 2LS. The theme is simply Fine Wines of the World and we will be showcasing such legendary names as Vega Sicilia and Antinori. It promises to be an unforgettable event. Free to existing members or tickets are available to non-members at £10.00 each.

Our aim is to increase your knowledge of wine, in a friendly and informal environment. Regular tasting events are designed to celebrate great wines that don’t cost the earth.
We want everybody to enjoy themselves when they come to our tastings; after all, drinking wine should be fun. You don’t have to spit the wines out and we encourage people to retry the wines!
The tastings are often led by our founder, James Lawrence who with several years experience in the wine industry as a journalist and teacher, will guide you through an exclusive range of carefully selected fine wines, with advice on food accompaniment, background information and bite-size insights into this fascinating world.
We also regularly invite guest speakers to host our events - winemakers, journalists, celebrities who love wine. You name it!
